The school started just a few yew years ago and enrolment has jumped enormously.Out of a population of almost one million in Lodwar, only 2,000 girls are in secondary school with about 38,000 girls attending primary school. The attendance of girls is much less than boys. Bishop Kimengich thanked the girls for all their efforts and encouraged them to continue.
