Trip postponed

I was recently informed by my boss that I would be required to travel to South Africa on 26th October for a critical company meeting.

The business meeting was on the same day that my daughter was to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. This development meant that I would miss this occasion. After grumbling (a bit!), I put the matter to Don Alvaro, accepting God's will and seeking his blessings and guidance. This meeting was put off till 3rd. Thank you Don Alvaro.

What are the donations used for?

The contributions for a beatification and canonization cause help to cover the costs involved in making the Servant of God, Blessed or Saint more widely known, the diocesan investigation, the Roman phase and, finally, the ceremony of beatification and canonization, in accordance with the norms approved by Pope Francis on 7 March 2016. When the ceremony of canonization has taken place, the donations are destined to the spreading of the message of the new saint.
