Bisi Falodun (III): Vocation to Opus Dei

Almost every young person with flesh and blood feels attracted to the prospect of getting married. Bisi felt it as well. She knew that God was asking her to 'sacrifice' her otherwise noble dream of marriage, and become a celibate Apostle.

Jesus said centuries ago that some will be Eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of God. That seems like a far away preaching until Christ beckons...

Why me Lord? You may ask.

And Christ will respond that, "He chose you before the foundation of the world, to go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide." And as the tears of mixed feeling drops from your eyes, Christ reassures you, "I have called you by your name, you are mine"
