Prelate's Pastoral Trips in July and August

Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz will visit various countries in Europe during the next two months to be with the faithful and friends of the Prelature. Links to highlights and photos of each trip.

Throughout his life, Saint Josemaría made numerous trips to spend time with the faithful of Opus Dei in various countries. His successors have continued this custom. In the coming weeks, many people will get to know the new Prelate of Opus Dei for the first time.

Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz will first travel to Madrid, the Spanish capital, where he will have several meetings from June 28 to July 3.

Next he will be in Portugal from July 4 to July 8. This will include a visit to Fatima to pray at the place where, 100 years ago, our Lady appeared to the three young shepherds.

He will be in Barcelona from July 13 to 17, where he will meet with various groups of people.

On August 1 he will travel to Paris, where he will stay until the 5th of that month. On the 5th he will travel to Germany, staying until August 21. From there he will make trips to Holland and Belgium, to be with people who take part in the apostolic work of Opus Dei in these countries.

Between August 22 and 25 he will have various pastoral meetings in Milan (Italy), and then continue on to Marseilles, where he will be from the 26th to the 28th. A few days later, he will travel to the Sanctuary of Torreciudad (Spain). There he will attend the priestly ordination of two associate members of the Prelature, to be held on September 3 in the Marian shrine.
